This family owned business opened its doors in February 2006 specializing in lighter fruit forward reds with light tannins. Joe runs the tasting room with his father, Aurelio. Aurelio retired after 28 years with the California Dept of Food & Agriculture. Aurelio's wife Donna teaches special education children at the elementary school level. Donna's daughter Rachel, does the same. Russel, Rachel's husband, is a massage therapist in the Sacramento area and also manages the winery's website. Despite their regular jobs, Donna, Rachel and Russell are very involved in the tasting room operation of the winery.

Upon entering the tasting room, you are greeted cheerfully and almost immediately sense the warm and friendly ambiance. Every once in awhile, on a relatively slow day, you can find Joe strumming his guitar and singing his favorite songs. There is always something fun happening at this small but quaint winery.
